Flashplayer pushed out this morning not installing properly - 15th aug

Mine never installed properly so it no longer worked 100% of the time with IPlayer/twitchtv, it would get stuck with the caching circle.  Going back a version and then reinstalling the latest didn't fix it so had to do a clean install if anyone else has the same issue.

Mine went O.K... all done and dusted in about 15 minutes... was doing breakfast at the time, so did not really bother about it....
What I can`t understand, is HOW?  How do I get this message that an update is available, when I switch on my computer... BUT.. it is not yet connected to the internet... ? ? ?

It most likely called home prior to you shutting your computer down, & the activated itself for your perusal upon startup
What annoys me is that it never shows prior to either a reboot or startup

Yeah... it is always the first thing... first thing in the morning...like... Hey numbskull...update me first before you do anything else....

& then the splash-page stays above all others IIRC, or is that the Java one ?

I think that is the Java one.... same thing though... do me first or I wont let you use the computer ....
