Firefox3 & Adobe Flash player plugin problem

Hi
I am having a problem dowloading the Adobe Flash Player plugin for FF3 on my new PC OS Vista SP1. It appears to download sucessfully but nothing happens, and it does not appear on my addons list in FF3.
Any suggestions?
