Firefox add-ons

As a spin-off from this thread for those of you that use firefox, what add-ons do you have?
Currently installed I have these:-
British English Dictionary - spellchecker (can't find a link for this)
ChatZilla - IRC client
Fasterfox - speeds up browsing
Firebug - helps debug code problems
FireFTP - FTP client for firefox
IE Tab - Switch to IE for those sites not designed for FF
Speed Dial - 9 favourite sites to choose from
Tabbrowser Preferences - greater control on the tab settings

Re: Firefox add-ons

I would have posted a link to the post where I listed my add-ons - but when I got there I found that someone has removed the icon that gives you that link. Instead I have to tell you that it is the last post on page 3 of the original topic.

Re: Firefox add-ons

Yeah, I saw some people had posted in there, thought it would be useful to have a separate thread though!

Mine were in the original thread:

Some others I use at work include Nagios Checker and Switch Proxy.

Re: Firefox add-ons

I definitely need to have a look at some extensions.  Mine are very limited and I'm sure a few more would add to my browsing pleasure Wink
I do like my 1clickweather though.

Re: Firefox add-ons

Although it is purely cosmetic, I love the Tab Efffect add on.
Lovely.

Re: Firefox add-ons

Current Firefox extensions include:
FasterFox
NoScript
ForecastFox
McAfeeSiteAdvisor (not strictly downloaded through Firefox, but updates as though it's an extension)
AdBlock
DomInspector
All bar one seem to be aimed at making FF more secure or faster, very sad!

I've just started using this, it just makes it nicer to look at when switching tabs, however when you switch tabs as often as I do it gets annoying.

Re: Firefox add-ons

Is that the one where the page rotates in a boxlike fashion?

Yeah.  That would get annoying.  Not entirely sure how Bob puts up with it all the time!

Fasterfox - speeds up browsing

I think "fasterfox" was one that appeared on Slashdot as an extension to avoid 🙂  Since I have a PAYG account, it would cost me too much cash!
Personally, I use
"Google browser sync"
"Stumble upon"
and
"ie view"
amongst others.
