Firefox History

Hi
Just started using Firefox and was wondering how I can get rid of the History on the History drop-down (below where it says "Home"), but maintaining the history in the CTRL-H sidebar. (If you see what I mean).
Looked around the options but nothing is obvious.
Thanks
Jeff

Re: Firefox History

Not obvious what you want - can you include a screen print to make it clearer

Re: Firefox History

Sorry,
On the top of Firefox there is the History drop-down and on there is the last 10 pages I have visited. I don't want them to be  kept there, but if I turn off history in the options, then I lose the history in the history side-bar.
I want the side-bar but not the drop-down.
Thanks again
