Re: Firefox 44

It may be unrelated but I was reading this yesterday and to quote from it :
Quote
By late 2015, many browser vendors have either removed or announced timelines for the removal of standards based plug-in support, eliminating the ability to embed Flash, Silverlight, Java and other plug-in based technologies,

You may want to look at FF's change log to see if this is the case.

Can I suggest that you try installing WaterFox. I am using this on my Mac and it works for me.

If, after you install, it still doesn't work can you provide some URLs for links that do not work please.

Re: Firefox 44

That's good news.  Wink
Best to check your audio settings then, it might be a configuration issue since the sound is evidently there, either that or you've got a dodgy headphone socket which isn't unlatching when you remove the jack.

Re: Firefox 44

Mook , my sound card has separate headphone amp , so headphone & mic has separate plugs from speakers .
Maybe its the Dolby setting for speakers dont like utube , as Win 10 says Dolby settings are incompatible  Embarrassed

Re: Firefox 44

Well the easiest work around there is to connect your speakers to the headphone socket assuming they are compatible i.e. 3.5mm jacks. But I guess you'll have thought of that but there must be another work around any driver updates for your sound card chipset?
