I have just attempted to run bbc iplayer in fire fox and it does not appear to work. What have I missed out from the add ons/plug ins?
Otherwise it runs ok!

It is now working. Firefox and iplayer that is! I watched part of that geordie bird sarah millican and it appeared to be working well
in the 'firefox' mode.
I am intrigued by firefox private browsing. When using that add on 'collusion' it would appear that it is anything but private!
Wouldn't it be nice for all internet users to be able to see who is 'tracking' your every move and allow you to 'cut them off'.
Maybe someone has already developed such a tool?

Have a look at Ghostery it shows who is "tracking you" ... and blocks them... and you can update the "block" when new trackers show up

I thought that "Private browsing mode" was more about not recording websites in Firefox's history, cache, cookies etc. rather than trying to make it impossible for websites to track you.
