Faster firefox for *nix users

Swiftfox is a recompiled version of FF 3.6 with processor specific versions available. (I am trialing the 64bit AMD version on Mint 8 64bit)
Quote
Swiftfox is an optimized build of Mozilla Firefox. Swiftfox has builds for both AMD and Intel processors and is based on the most cutting edge Firefox source code available.

So far no issues Cheesy
EDIT:-spoke to soon, Issues with flash, even though the plugin is installed it doesn't display flash.

Guess the rest of us 'll wait a little while longer , then, before trying it!
Out of interest - which distro(s) did you try it on?

How does it compare with Chrome? I put it on Ubuntu last week and was very impressed with the speed.
Have been using it quite a bit since as have put it on W7 too. Also has plenty of addons.
Would like to give Swiftfox a go - let us know how you get on.

Re: Faster firefox for *nix users

I have crome on my low power pc, its OK, but I have gotten used to the add-on's I have in FF. So it faces a hard time from me. Its a bit lighter on memory so better on the other pc but I cant see me switching yet.
