FTTP Modem Router.

I'm considering the few all in one modem/router for my FTTC connection.   My query is, will these all in ones be able to connect directly, if I moved up to FTTP at a later date?

Re: FTTP Modem Router.

FTTP uses a different type of modem, it uses a fibre for the internet which connects directly into the Openreach modem.
FTTC connects  the phone line to the All in One Modem/Router,  so on FTTP you need the supplied Openreach modem.
You can use any router which supports PPPoE and connects its' WAN link to the Fibre modem. Not sure which ALL In One devices would allow that though.
Also if you are on FTTC, it is highly unlikely that the same premises would be offered FTTP in the short or medium future.
