FTTC Availability following on from Moving House!

Hi you very friendly and helpful lot Smiley
I'm moving from a Fibre'ed estate in the village where I live to a new property on a new TW estate which currently is going to be connected to Cab 1 in Hixon which appears not to have any FTTC.
Checking all the usual checkers don't help as no Phone number and Postcode not being recognised, can anyone at Plus net help at all?
Any ideas if Cab 1 in Hixon (ST18 0QX) is likely to get updated?
Cheers
Rich

A quick check indicates that it is probably identified as Weston 1 and isn't enabled unlike Weston 2 and 4 which also serve Hixon http://www.superfaststaffordshire.co.uk/

Thanks Jim - yeah I'm aware that the other boxes in Hixon have been upgraded by the Staffs rollout, I don't think Weston 1 is, so I was wandering if there is any input from Plusnet or BT on when it might be upgraded Sad

Re: FTTC Availability following on from Moving House!

As it looks to be part of the Superfast Stafford rollout they may be worth contacting although as a first step put in a known post code such as ST18 0FE and then scroll the map to see your area.
If it is the old airfield then it is due in 2017
Just to add - because it is in the Superfast Stafford area BT won't give any dates

No it isn't part of there rollout, they cite BT Commercial roll out on Weston 1.
