FON style hotspots

Is there any chance that we will get free access to wifi hotspots like  Orange offer?

This has come up before and sadly it looks unlikely; it appears FON and BT Retail have a lockin deal.
You can use FON if you buy your own Fonera box from them (39 euros).  I'm slightly wary of FON though as they removed support for earlier boxes they had sold, you can't be sure they won't do it again when their next new things comes along.

We do not have any plans at present to launch any hotspot facilities, unfortunately 
However, if this does change in the future we will let you know.
