Email Attachment from MS Works not displaying correctly

Hi All, can anybody help please, I have been sent an attachment which is a letter created in Works but I am unable to view it properly. I use Outlook (2003) as my mail client which I believe uses MS Word & I know our friend Bill G saw fit not to make the two compatible! This being the case, can anyone tell me if this can be rectified? the attachment comes over with the prefix BOC transfer.wps. I have tried forwarding it to my Yahoo address but still get the same result.

Thanks for that for some reason it's not working could be that the doc was created in an old version of Works. The person has sent it to me in a Word doc now.

must have been a corrupt file, as that Bill Gates link gave options for all sorts of his file readers and they generally work, even on back  issues
