Edge Browser - not as good as they say

Anyone else having problems with Edge Browser.
Mine is unresponsive for about 10 seconds after pages load.
Have turned embedded flash off but no difference.
Was hoping Microsoft had finally got a competitive browser.
Firefox is running like a dream on Windows 7.

Have tried it on win10    not impressed ,,, Keep using Firefox

Still using IE! Not impressed with Edge. Looks like it was rushed to market before being ready!

I have exactly this problem.  It's very irritating if you want to scroll down the page.

I had problems with edge when trying to get to some websites but not with others, but no more so than I have with places like ebay using ie11 (it freezes all the time on every page load)  actually the biggest problem with edge seems to be most webpages don't work properly with it, I know that M$ collects data about such websites automatically if your part of the user experience program, if you are then try turning it off and see if that speeds things up a bit (you also have to change settings within edge)
although to be perfectly honest edge doesn't seem to run that well at present and I wont be upgrading my main pc to w10 for a while yet

i rolled back to chrome the edge browser needs lots more work

I gave it a fair try then went back to Waterfox for general use and IE for my IPcams.

I have a low power pc in my livingroom ... one of these AMD E450 APU motherboards.
It has always struggled with full HD on youtube with firefox, waterfox and chrome, using html5 or flash (although html5 is slightly better).
With Microsoft edge, it's actually using hardware acceleration on html5 and youtube plays smoothly at full hd, unless it uses the flash player.

I disabled flash payer on my pc's because its so buggy and causing so much freezing on everything if only it wasn't embedded into the operating system it would be so much better ....

My Edge browser is working much better on Insider Preview 10532.  the delay in responding after loading a web page seems to have gone away now.
