Download sites...
Hi,
Browsing the various PN products on the Kitz site this morning and looking at the effects of traffic shaping I see that included within the list of download sites are some pornographic sites.
Whilst I appreciate that an appreciable percentage of downloaded material is porn I’m surprised at some of the sites being openly mentioned.
I wonder what the ‘official’ policy is. Other than keeping logs – and handing these over when presented with a court order – I presume PN has no interest in what is downloaded?
Perhaps I should hasten to add that that having spent a number of years in the Merchant Navy I’m about as broad minded as they get…!!!

Incidentally been with PN for a good while now and still impressed with their service. I previously spent some time with Freeserve/Wanadoo/Orange - it can only get better !!!

We only filter websites based on IWF classification. This filters out the following content:
So long as the pornographc sites in question are legal then we will not treat them any differently to any other website.

Criminally obscene adult content hosted in the UK.
Incitement to racial hatred content hosted in the UK.
Non-photographic child sexual abuse images hosted in the UK.
