Does anyone have an XP SP3 RTM link yet?

Hi Folks
I have to do an XP rebuild over the next couple of days and I really don’t want to do all the painful updating, nearly 100 updates!
Does anyone with MSN or Technet access have a link that I can use to get XP SP3 RTM now rather than waiting for the 29th?

There’s nothing like continuity, and that’s nothing like continuity!
Vista SP1 was released to Technet before general download. TBH I thought I had seen stuff on M$ saying that XP SP3 would be as well.
If you hear anything else please SHOUT!

God, just want to warn you - I downloaded the patch from the Majorgeeks site and the license on installing was for a pre release version, so I cancelled it. I used the link to the file author in case it's different on the other ones, but just wanted to warn you.

ah...urmm....hmm... Oh dear, I installed it first thing this morning. I must admit I skipped reading the licence. System properties just show as SP3 no mention of beta or version number. I did back up before installing I guess I could just roll it back.
File name was WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe File Version V 6.2.0029.0
Does that sound like it would still be pre-release?

Thanks Jim - I found this on page 4 (post by quatrix):
"The file that comes straight from MS ("The Author's Site" or "Alternative 1") and is 330,nnn,nnn bytes instead of 331,nnn,nnn seems to be an older RC. That's why people are seeing different hashes. It seems a lot easier to just wait a few more days for the official download."
So apparently if you choose locations 2 or above (ie don't get it direct from microsoft) it's the correct version, otherwise it's a release candidate.

That's the same exe that was in the MSDN ISO I downloaded, which is the finished article.

Yes agreed that's what im gonna do after having problems with a pre release

According to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsxp/0a5b9b10-17e3-40d9-8d3c-0077c953a761.aspx -
"Windows XP SP3 will be available to non-subscribers [to technet] on 4/29 via Windows Update and Microsoft Download Center."

29th I think for availability via Windows Update as optional.
