I've noticed that every so often my broadband connection disconnects of its own accord. I find this quite annoying at times especially if I'm in the middle of something. Does anyone know why it happens and how I can stop it happening.
What modem/router do you use and how do you connect to it? Intel(R)537EP V9 x DF PCI Are you connected to the master socket (this is usually a two-part socket where your BT line enters your house) or to a internal extension? An extension socket Are your devices (including Sky boxes, fax machines, phones and the modem) filtered? I've got filters on all phone sockets. Haven't got Sky or Fax
