Anyone have one of these?
Looks like a great replacement for my Dell Mini 1012 netbook. The only negative I see is the relatively low resolution screen - 1280x800 isn't great for an 8" screen these days.
The main thing I'd want to know before buying is the storage (eMMC) performance. The storage that ASUS put in the Nexus 7 is pretty poor - if you fill it too much the Nexus 7 is pretty much unusable. Even when it's performing "normally" it spends most of its time waiting for I/O to be handled, rather than CPU or RAM limitations.
Since the Dell Venue 8 Pro runs full Windows 8.1 (complete with desktop apps support), if it works well, then it looks like another nail in the coffin for Windows 8 RT.
