Default Browser

I've started to use SRIron as my browser instead of Google Chrome. When I installed it I ignored the option to make it my default browser (in case I didn't like it).
I do like it and when I open it up I'm asked if I want to make it my default browser, I select yes but it doesn't do it and every time I click a link in an email etc. the computer loads the webpage in Chrome.
I'm running W7 HP. I don't want to uninstall Chrome as I've a lot of bookmarks saved and, annoyingly SRIron will import bookmarks from IE and Firefox but not Chrome.
Any ideas?

try right clicking  on the SRIron browser icon and select "Run as Administrator" then go to options and select "Make default"
try also doing  the same with crome  but deselecting it from making it your default  browser
