Deco M9 Plus and Zyxel VMG8324-B10A

Hi all,

Have been asked to setup a Deco M9 Plus system for a friend and I wanted to double check something.

I plan to replace the standard allocated router they have received as part of a recent new order (FTTC 80/20 ordered) with a spare Zyxel VMG8324-B10A I have which will be setup in bridge mode. I will then use the Deco M9 in full router/access point mode.

I believe I can just use the below on the Deco which will be connected to the Zyxel via ethernet cable:

Broadband username or login nameyourusername@plusdsl.net
Connection type or encapsulationPPPoE Always On
PasswordThe password you use to log in to the Member Centre
VLANActive
VLAN ID (802.1q)101
VLAN ID (802.1p)0

Anything I am missing or not covered?

Thanks

I think you'll find that the zyxel should handle the vlan id and therefore it should be disabled on the deco
