Hi all,
Have been asked to setup a Deco M9 Plus system for a friend and I wanted to double check something.
I plan to replace the standard allocated router they have received as part of a recent new order (FTTC 80/20 ordered) with a spare Zyxel VMG8324-B10A I have which will be setup in bridge mode. I will then use the Deco M9 in full router/access point mode.
I believe I can just use the below on the Deco which will be connected to the Zyxel via ethernet cable:
Broadband username or login name | yourusername@plusdsl.net |
Connection type or encapsulation | PPPoE Always On |
Password | The password you use to log in to the Member Centre |
VLAN | Active |
VLAN ID (802.1q) | 101 |
VLAN ID (802.1p) | 0 |
Anything I am missing or not covered?
Thanks

I think you'll find that the zyxel should handle the vlan id and therefore it should be disabled on the deco
