Dangerous Router-Eating Worm

looks like its time i changed my router password to a none dictionary word as well as my wireless.

And make sure that you can not login to control it via the internet side.

This is something I once enabled on a D-Link router for a specific issue I had - but can't for the life of me find out how to remove the ability to. I'm imagining that I would have secured it to my IP address at home, so only I could administer it, but I can't be certain, since I can't find the darned option.
Any ideas anybody?

remote mangment is allways off on my router.
does any one know how to change the user name on the dg834g v4's
