Last week i recorded a tv prog on my computer not from the internet. I just used my t-stick .
Later when i did a routine scan my antivirus prog objected to the mpeg file.
It contained a virus. How is this possible please?

Since an mpeg file is an encoded,compressed file it's likely that the AV software saw a series of bytes that 'looked' like a virus signature.
Its almost certainly a false positive.
