I have it installed on my XP machine here at work but it's been there since 15 December 2011 so I don't specifically recall whether it had any issues installing (I certainly don't remember any problems with it and it's marked with a green tick under status).
The most recent 'Update Rollup for ActiveX Killbits for Windows XP' showing on my system is KB2736233 installed 12 September 2012.
