Contact us form not working

I'm trying to help a colleauge fix a web page with a "submit" button on it. The button deos not work. I have a vauge recollection that something might need to be set up at the ISP / server end - CGI scripts?? - can somone please confirm if I'm right please?

Where is the web page hosted, and it what way is the button 'broken'?

The web site is not hosted by Plusnet - it's with another ISP I don't know who I'm sorry - were you looking for the URL?
The way in which it is broken - is it doesn't work when you click it - it moves as you click on it,  but it doesn't POST the contents of the text box the way it should.
Not sure if that has helped at all.

You will need a script to get the submit button to post, if you are using the submit button on a contact form you can get some free scripts from: www.scriptdungeon.com or create one online to use in your site at: http://www.freecontactform.com/download.php

Unless we can see the page URL / source there is very little we can help with. Without knowing how it is trying to work and what it is using for the form we are pretty much in the dark.
