When in office I used to be able to access my ISP's website for private mail.
This week I now find blocked by HQ policy; seems to block anything when mail is in title or URL, or may be more sophisticated, unknown to me.
Any suggestions valued?
We can't use Blackberries either due to manufacturing restrictions on wifi
in immediate vicinity.

Thanks 4 that; am away from office, so just connected via VPN and that tiny link doesn't work, or show me a blockage page.
It's fine when off VPN, but I can't do that when in office.
Normal plusnet mail (+ other ISP's generates this page text)
Message I see is:

Traffic to and from the internet is being filtered and logged.Access to this site has been blocked
by HQ policy.

Quote from: Gel This week I now find blocked by HQ policy
If you try and circumvent that you'll probably find yourself liable for misconduct, possibly even leading to dismissal, under the companies security policy.
That said, the policy needs to be explained clearly and also reasonable in the circumstances, so you could always ask your management to justify why it is so restrictive.

Circumventing IT policy's is not always conducive with continued employment. However stupid they are.

I'd agree. We've parted company with people as high up as a previous Managing Director on account of breaches of company IT Policy.
