Clicked on a link - I shouldn't have

I received an email this morning from someone whom I thought I recognized, it contained a link that I clicked on (I was still half asleep).

A window opened in a  browser with a whole load of activity.

On realizing what I had done I closed the browser, deleted the email, ran defender, malware-bytes and Adwcleaner, found one 'pup' and nothing else.

Anything else I should do?

If you have a backup restore your PC to that point just in case it, but what has been done has been done. Time will tell if your efforts were successful.

@journeys - Glad to see you had a backup, it is something that every user should have regardless of OS but sadly this is not the case. For myself I use Acronis True Image, I do have a Time Capsule but that's another story!
