Cisco VPN

May or may not be related. Trying to use works Cisco VPN to connect back to office (never used present companies VPN before and only been with plusnet ~10 days). Is there anything with the 582 router, or Plusnet service, that may block it? I'm getting a 413 authentication error. Just wanted to double check here first,

No problem that I'm aware of and I use Cisco VPN daily, but with an older Thompson router.  I get the occasional drop-out,  but that's more because of my poor line.
