Chromecast connection

Hi Techs,
When I am connected with PlusNet my Chromecast dis-connects. When I connect Chromecast, PlusNet dis-connects. Help Perleeeese!!

Are you making a peer-to-peer wireless connection between your (unspecified) device and the Chromecast thingy?  If so, then what you describe is only to be expected.  If not, then can you supply a few more details please.

Hi ya Reed,
In answer to your question, no I am not trying to connect to a peer-to-peer. I have a Medion Desk-Top computer running Windows 7. A Plus.net Unlimited Fibre Account. An Open Reach Modem and a Technicolur ( standard)  Router. I have tried again this morning to get Chromecast to connect but no luck. Is there anything else I should tell you about?  Regards

I don't understand what you mean in the first post.  Do you mean if you connect the Chromecast to the router then the router loses its internet connection? Or does it just fail to connect regardless?
