Should it not be released by now?
I am perfectly happy with 5.4 on my VPS and my personal web server, just curious.

I know they had problems with the original maintainer, but that was fixed some months ago. But they don't really have a fixed upgrade path, you would have to look at RH to see what is upstream.

In the last week of March a Red Hat VP said the beta release of RHEL 6 should be out in about a month. So, if it doesn't lead to any wailing and gnashing of teeth, we might see CentOS 6 in June or July. I hope so: I'm waiting to convert to it from Fedora 10, on which I think is based.
