CartridgeMonkey

Found Cartridge Monkey while looking to purchase genuine HP cartridges.
They are UK-based and have full UK address and landline listed. Their prices are very competitive (well, they were for my HP) and free UK postage, to boot.
Placed the order yesterday just after 1pm and it arrived10:30 this morning Smiley

Re: CartridgeMonkey

Thanks for the link Mav.  You reminded me I need some replacement cartridges for my Epson.  Just checked and they are competitively priced. Smiley

Re: CartridgeMonkey

Hmmm! HP are cheaper than 7dayshop on eBay, but not cheaper than going direct to 7dayshop!
It's only a few pennies difference though.

Re: CartridgeMonkey

@NedLudd With no landline telephone and a PO Box number I'm afraid 7dayshop wouldn't get my custom.
@oldjim Their prices work out at over £20 more for the same HP cartridges with free 2nd class postage Sad

Re: CartridgeMonkey

I've bought lots of rechargeable batteries from 7dayshop and currently have a pack of AAAs on the way.
Never had a problem.
My last set of cartridges for my Canon came from 'More Inks' via Amazon.

Re: CartridgeMonkey

I've dealt with 7dayshop for donkies years without a problem. They are outside the EU based in the Channel Islands and until very recently, they didn't charge VAT!
But, if you want to bury your head in the sand then so be it!
Just checked - joined them 30/03/2002!

Re: CartridgeMonkey

I've also used 7dayshop for years.  Always had good service from them.  There used to be another one also based in the Channel Islands, mx2, but they are no longer around.
When I checked my cartridges on 7dayshop and Mav's Cartridge Monkey there was under 50p between the two companies on cartridges priced at £32.

Re: CartridgeMonkey

So far, my only bad internet purchase was a toner cartridge from an outfit called "Deals4U" [I now know that you should never buy from someone with a daft name].
Even though it was less than £100, I was able to raise a chargeback (I don't know what that actually means  Cheesy ) and I got my money back.

Re: CartridgeMonkey

In my experience the trouble with "compatible" ink cartridges is that you pay half the price for something that your printer refuses to work with 25% of the time.

Re: CartridgeMonkey

I've only used compatible cartridges once a few years ago on an Epson. Totally messed it up. Never again.

Re: CartridgeMonkey

I've had issues with compatibles, funnily enough in an Epson like Mav. Possibly to do with the fact we didn't use it very much, ended up chucking it.

Re: CartridgeMonkey

I've always used genuine cartridges. Heard too many stories about problems with compatibles.
