Canon TS6151 printer: any experts to the fore. Please!

I've been trying without any success to print a 6x4" photo using the printer's rear tray.

The paper is in the carrier as per this.

The instructions were to register the printer on the touch screen, but I can't find the relative section, yet when I go print, the correct settings are there.

The little flap is closed and the carrier in the extended position. I'm guessing the carrier has to be lowered, but do not seem to succeed, because on attempting to lower it the paper remains high up, not moving down with the carrier, nor does the carrier want to close completely.

Hope some kind soul can help!

I try to avoid help desks, as often they know less than I.Wink

No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

My current Canon no longer has the rear tray, but I've had models in past where I've used

rear tray for photo printing. Where is the touch screen you're referred to?

When you try to print from rear, have you selected that as paper source?

Try Cntrl & P command if you're using Windows and that'll bring up printer

pop up, where you can select paper tray, print quality etc.
