Canon MP540..... my eyes are dim, I cannot see

As the old song goes,' My eyes are dim I cannot see: I have not brought my specs with me.', and there's the rub. Even with my specs the little home screen situate on the printer is difficult to read. It may well be buried somewhere is in the instructions, but am unable to find if there is a way to get that interactive screen  in a large format on my monitor.
Does anyone here know how it's done, either on the MP540 or a similar Canon MP multifunction?
Thanks.
No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Don't have that particular Canon, but there's not a direct screen shot match.
You can amend machine settings either via Printer Properies,
or via the "MP Software" that came with mine.
