Hi, I get this wireless broadband Option 2 at £15 per month on 15 July and the landline I'm using belongs to my landlady.
I got her permission to set up the broadband before I order, but now she seems to be unhappy with this and may go to regret.
So just in case, if I want to cancel this contract, how can I achieve that without extra cost or fine? Am I free to cancel within 7 or 14 days?
Thanks for reading and reply.

I would suggest a call to Customer Support: 0114 296 5198.
Ask if they can put things on hold. I expect that it is to late, as PlusNet will start the activation process there will be costs already incurred.

Under distance selling regs you have the option to cancel within a certain timeframe (might be 14days, but don't take my word for it)
You would of course still be liable for any costs PN had incurred already, but at least you wouldn't be tied to a contract then.
As Chilly says - best thing to do is get on to customer support as quickly as you can. They'll be able to advise the best way forward and any costs involved etc.
