Can't login to portal (Sun 10/11/2013)

I can't login to the portal.
entering username & password (correctly) just reloads the page with the login boxes.
was OK yesterday evening
cookies and cache cleared - no change.

same here. simply says says "invalid username or password. Please try again."
im sure it will be back up before long

I can't even get that far. Just getting a blank page for the member center.

For me it says:
"Thanks for visiting, we'll be back soon
We've had to take the site down for maintenance."
No mention of this in the Announcement forums or on usenet.

I get the following error:
Only thing on Twitter (even remotely related is): Planned Broadband Faults Troubleshooter Maintenance - Saturday 9th November  10.00pm-Sunday 10th November 7.00am

If the systems that the portal relies on are down they can't post service status to the portal. The usenet, RSS and service status emails all take their feed from that so don't expect anything on there until it's back up!

It would seem this was unplanned maintenance seeing as there have been no prior announcements. Also, no updates here or on Twitter from the PN staff probably because the usual staff are not around.

Just came here to check if anyone knows how long the portal is going to be down as I need to find dates and times for phone calls made last month to refer to in an email that my OH needs to send off tonight. Oh well, just hope it's fixed before this evening!

Could be down for a number of reasons.
A forum I moderate on is also down this morning - first time in a year or so. My own web server was hacked last week and again yesterday (Php5 exploit) so I had to take my own server down yesterday while I secured it and updated the OS etc.
I've had four attempts at reinfecting my server this morning already but fortunately they have all bounced off this time

Hi all,
I've just become aware of this. I've spoken with the CSC who are in touch with our networks team whilst they're looking into the issue.
I'm expecting a call with an update about this shortly so I'll reply back here as soon as I know more.

Maybe they are replacing that dreadful look and replacing so looks like the order website pages?
I can't check as I have no portal account - plus net can u open the free account? In case I ever need dial up

Hi all,
The holding pages which are up in place of the portal shouldn't be there at the moment so this is a problem we're looking at rather than maintenance work.
