Can't connect to usergroup IRC

Whenever I try and connect to irc://usergroup.plus.net:6667 I'm booted with the following

Can anyone shed some light on this?

DLM manages your line the same way DRM manages your rights.

Are you trying to connect from a non-PN connection?
Try http://usertools.plus.net/irc/

I can connect from the java client.
I'm trying to connect from a PN connection.
I can guess at the problem
its either a) my reverse dns isn't a recognised plusnet one as its set to my own domain or
b) I'm coming from behind a NAT so the IP my client is sending isn't matching the external IP.

@Bob yep, I've rolled back the other changes I made to my client and connecting without the URL  still works.
