If a USB one is what you want I recommend the EdiMax ones which I find very useful setting up new systems.
The version I have is an EW-7711UAn though that may have been superceded.

HPsauce recommends about the biggest one you can get!  That should have excellent range but they do come much smaller if your computer isn't too far from your router.

Well it's been a long time since i saw a usb stick WITH a wire to be honest... most sandisk or kingston usb disks were wireless since the invention of flash memory
