CDNs hosted by PlusNet

I read on another thread (maybe incorrectly) that Plusnet have recently started hosting a node for Akamai's CDN. Is it possible to get a list of CDNs that Plusnet are hosting a node for? This is more out of curiosity really rather than for any reason in particular, although given the choice between using 2 mirrors for a download or stream I'd be more likely to go for the one that has a presence in Plusnet so the information doesn't have to travel as far!

Re: CDNs hosted by PlusNet

Hi
We have cache platforms from 3 companies , Google, Akamai and Netflix.
The traffic that gets served from those is controlled by the company in question not Plusnet however a bulk of it is done via DNS so if you use our DNS servers that should give you a higher chance of hitting them, hope this helps.

Re: CDNs hosted by PlusNet

Hi Paul, thanks for those details. Is there one for Limelight networks (llnw) at all? Doing a traceroute to one of those IP addresses looks (to me anyway) that it doesn't leave the network.
