CCleaner and removables

Can CCleaner be used to clean removable drives. If it can how has it to be set up?
Does anyone know, please.?
No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Re: CCleaner and removables

Based on CCleaner v3.00.1303
Start CCleaner
Click on Tools Tab
Click on Drive Wiper
Select type of Wipe and Security
Tick box for removable drive. Make sure no other Drive box is ticked!
Click Wipe
Use with Great Care!!  Smiley

Just a gentle reminder - just to be careful that you don't wipe you C drive by mistake. Can't be too careful.  Smiley

Can you wipe an active drive ?
Seemed to remember I kept getting the message the Active drive could not be formatted or perhaps I am getting confused between wiping and formatting a drive ?

When you say "clean", do you mean wipe completely or just get rid of rubbish? You can just clear out the rubbish by going to Options - Include, then Add and browse to the drive concerned.
