I did BOTH.

Use existing Port 80/ Http rule and also created s separate one.

Having just joined Plusnet from a BT reseller, had no issues viewing CCTV but came across this so it looks like it's an issue.

 

What did others do, just use another router or does that not help, is it actually a service issue?

Are you using simple port forwarding or are you using UPnP?

If it helps I have a hub one, with port forwarding to an internet vpn server. It's a static ip internally so the router doesn't have to match the port forward to dhcp pools.
Set internet to say 192.168.1.250 then apply port forward

I've never had to re-apply the port forward.

I use a ddns provider that updates where my ip is from the Vpn server so I don't need a static IP from plusnet.

Which router are you using the 2704 or the hub one?
