Broadband capacity

i got an email update today about an increase in 20CN and 21CN Broadband Capacity:
20CN increased by 3500Mbps
21CN increased by 16.11Gbps, this will also be increasing by a further 8.86Gbps.
What does this mean, what is good about this and how is this good for the customers of Plusnet Broadband?

We buy bandwidth and if we don't buy enough there'll be times when customers see slowdowns due to us not having enough, that's the simple way of thinking about it.
