I am attempting to make a bootable USB installation disc from my authentic W7 Pro DVD using ImgBurn.
I have created an ISO using ImgBurn called 'GRMCPRXFRER_EN_DVD.ISO' and am now trying to write to the USB.
I have chosen Write Files/Folders to Disc and selected the folder where the ISO is stored. In the advanced tab I have selected 'Make Image Bootable' and the Boot Image is the file mentioned above.
When I go to the destination section the only device in the drop-down menu is the DVD drive (E: ) and not the USB drive (G: ) which is inserted and formatted to FAT32. I have included a screenshot.
Any help to complete the process would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks.
I thought I had seen something like that before but couldn't find it.
Hopefully Rufus has solved the issue

Rufus appears to have created a Bootable USB. Can't check it on the PC till tomorrow as not ready to reboot that yet. But double-clicking on the Setup.exe file on the laptop opens up an installation window.
Again. Thanks.

as others have mentioned, Rufus is a great tool, I'd also suggest looking at YuMI if you need to have multiple iso's on a single USB, really handy tool to use

Thanks.
I have done this operation several times using Rufus to make a bootable Windows 10 USB from an ISO file. You need to select the actual file, not the containing folder (but perhaps you knew/meant that).

That quote was from my description of the actions when attempting to use ImgBurn and not Rufus.
