Are PlusNet actively blocking some sites? Certain image hosts in particular seem to be partially blocked, it appears by restricting bandwidth to the point where the browser times out.
I have tried looking at the same page with a different browser on a broadband connection with the same result. However, if I switch to a different ISP or use a proxy server, there is no problem.
I have read somewhere that there is a blacklist of some sites that some ISP's are preventing access to.
What is the score with PlusNet?

The only sites blocked by Plusnet are those on the blocked list of the Internet Watch Foundation http://www.iwf.org.uk/ but some sites may use images from sites classified as download sites or servers which are throttled as shown here http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/speed_guide/download_speeds.shtml
Can you give a couple of examples
This gives a bit more information http://www.plus.net/support/security/abuse/iwffaq.shtml
