We moved from Ring to Blink last year as the subscription price was ridiculous. I have noticed with the Blink doorbell however, a lot of missed presses. Every time I press the button, it works, so I know it is good. What I did notice though is that the button "floats" somewhat, similar to being on a universal joint. If you don't press the button dead in the middle the edge moves in, but doesn't activate the bell. I am wondering how I can encourage people to press the middle, not the edge. Anyone else with a Blink bell that has had this issue and a fix? I was tempted to print a target, but that would be no good for deliveries in the dark.

I tend to rely on montion detection rather than rings but I get relatively few "false detections" so I can do that.
The whole thing is a bit unreliable, the sync module seems to fall off the WiFi and although it has power from a "traditional" doorbell it still needs a couple of sets of expensive batteries a year,
The push is a bit flakey but it matches the rest of it!

I am not prepared to pay the subscription charge so have a Sync Module 2 with my own memory stick. I am not aware of it ever losing its WiFi connection.
It is not powered from the 'traditional doorbell', it only provides a contact closure to trigger the doorbell in the same way as the old bell push.
