It is interesting to note that there has been a problem with the Billion BiPAC 5200 series of routers when using an XP computer that has been upgraded to SP3. The problem appears to be related to DHCP operation. There is a notice on their site giving details. There is a lucky draw - I doubt whether any PlusNet user will win a Tape Measure Pen considering the number of routers there must be out in the field! The draw closes tomorrow. There is also a workaround for the Windows XP SP3 compatibility issue with the ADSL Router in the form of a pdf file. It is unusual for a router have a problem with an operating system but there is some discussion of the problem here. However, it does show that this is possible.
