Hi,
I've been with plusnet for a week now and so far its been a pleasent experience, especially considering the service I was getting with Sky Broadband Connect!
I've been a bit ping obsessed lately and runing lots of ping test/tracerts. On the whole I've been getting great results, but one thing I have noticed is that when doing tracerts I get quite a slow response time from the router. Some results are below:
Tracing route to bbc.co.uk [212.58.224.138]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 5 ms 99 ms 99 ms dsldevice.lan [192.168.1.254]
2 22 ms 19 ms 21 ms lo0-plusnet.pcl-ag03.plus.net [195.166.128.109]
3 25 ms 20 ms 21 ms gi1-6-703.pcl-gw01.plus.net [84.92.0.181]
4 21 ms 28 ms 20 ms te2-1.pcl-gw02.plus.net [212.159.1.114]
5 20 ms 18 ms 19 ms te2-2.thn-gw2.plus.net [212.159.0.190]
6 21 ms 18 ms 20 ms rt0.thdo.bbc.co.uk [212.58.239.25]
7 18 ms 23 ms 17 ms 212.58.238.149
8 16 ms 18 ms 16 ms virtual-vip.thdo.bbc.co.uk [212.58.224.138]
Trace complete.
Are these normal results (I've also attached an image from pingplotter)?
I have the Thomson TG585 v7 router from Plusnet (brand new) and I'm currently on Plusnet Pro.
Thanks,
Mike.

I'm guessing you are using wireless - any chance of checking what it looks like wired?
