BT email?

bt have emailed me with an obligatory software upgrade.
i left bt last october.
the email address looks ok --billing@bt.com but no name below customer support service.
anyone else had one off bt.

They're fake - phishing emails. Just delete any you get.

thanks for that jaggies, i now have two to delete,should i report them to anyone in particular, BT maybe.

thanks for the link to bt 77.  i've deleted them now but will use the link if any more dodgy emails appear.

I get half a dozen of these every other day - I still have my @btinternet.com email address. The easiest way of spotting any that get missed by the spam filter is to hover the pointer over any links in the email, which will show you the actual link rather than the one displayed in the message, or hover over the from address - most of the last month's attempts have actually appeared to have been from spoofed email addresses @talktalk.net or @aol.com
