BT Home Hub V1.5 - Working with Plus.Net ( Not hacked )

:)If you have a BT Home Hub V1.5 ( the new version ) and you update it to the latest version of firmware V6.2.6e it now connects to Plus.NET.
I've not yet managed to get the Hub Phone to work yet.

Personally I wasn't aware that this had been released, I'm asking around internally to see if we knew.

Re: BT Home Hub V1.5 - Working with Plus.Net ( Not hacked )

Hi,
Yep, a couple of months ago the firmware was updated to add the PlusNet realms to be used as we've been looking at the Hub for a while and that allowed us to test it on our network. I've got one at home and it seems OK, the Hub phone works for the landline (make sure you press the little button on the back when you try and register it) but not for VoIP calls as it's looked to BT's VoIP settings so you can't change it to use our VoIP service.

Re: BT Home Hub V1.5 - Working with Plus.Net ( Not hacked )

Hi Dave,
Does the older V1.0 Home Hub with V6.2.2e Firmware work with PlusNet?
The original post suggested that it needed to be a V1.5 Hub but it would seem that the realm data would be in the firmware so not hardware dependent.
