BT Cloud storage

I wonder if PN could consider allowing users to use BT Cloud storage http://home.bt.com/tech-gadgets/internet/how-to-get-free-storage-space-with-bt-cloud-11363983784120
I want a cloud storage that is totally based in the UK subject to British and EU law.
I realise BT / PN need to have product differentiation or what is the point of keeping PN as a separate brand ( for those that don't know PN is owned by BT )  but this is one thing that would be really useful to many PN customers I feel.

Re: BT Cloud storage

It may have improved a lot since I last used it over a couple of years ago, but BT Cloud storage was seriously terrible; inventing replication conflicts in situations where they could not genuinely have occurred, mishandling the conflicts once detected, and in some cases (this never happened to me) deleting the originals of files.
I don't know where there servers are, but the service was provided by a non-UK company (Finnish I think, but ?)

If you're going to be uploading to cloud storage I bet it won't be long before you upgrade your FTTP package to get the 20Mb/s upload speed!  Wink

I was guessing you were referring to 50/20 and bypassing the 80/20 option for a good reason (cost?) so I checked and found;

I have just signed up for 38M as the extra for 76M is too much - and I think 38M should be a huge improvement over our current 2M on ADSL.
But a £2 increase might well interest me as the upload is significantly higher...

If you wanted to save money and have the 80/20 product you could do so by ditching your line rental which PN will allow you to do.
You would pay the extra £5.00 for the faster product, plus an extra £2.50 presuming you presently have your line rental with PN, but you'd save far more than that by ditching the line rental and any call packages.
If you wanted to keep your landline number you could simply port it to a VoIP company; if you need to make calls you'd find VoIP is far cheaper than standard landline calls/packages are, plus there are other bonuses such as not having to pay extra for Caller Display.

The new package is 50/10, not 50/20.
