The BBC iPlayer was replaced by the Beta version on Friday, just in time for the weekend. For most users it has turned out to be a bit of a problem navigating the new format. There are so many glitches that i'll be surprised if they don't have to go back to the older version for a while.
The good news is that there is an alternative part of the BBC site which can be used in conjunction with the iPlayer for anyone who is trying to locate particular programmes and doesn't want to do it by sliding screenshots and untitled captions.
