Does anyone know if it is possible to record from the iplayer and if so how would you go about it.  Thanks

Re: BBC i Player

Using Apple iMac, OSX & QT 10.2, I record the screen movie, full screen.
Audio via o/p to i/p via splitter
I'm sure similar apps are available for PC's.
Most BBC iPlayer programmes are available on iplayer (Mac only) which have no time limit imposed.

Re: BBC i Player

I would just like to add an update to my original query regarding the iplayer.  The is an iplayer desktop app which you can download from the bbc website, then you can record programmes and keep them for 30 days, once you've watched them you can remove them.  There is a 4gb limit to the amount of downloads.  I think it's a very useful tool, it means you can download during your free allowance time and watch when you want.

Re: BBC i Player

There is no 4gb Limit, you can set your own limit in preferences.
Mine is set at 20gb.
