BB Phone Problem Solved!

My changing from a complicated router to a simplistic Speedtouch 510 i appear to have killed my BB Phone problem, mainly because i suspect this modem does not have a NAT firewall - it's an ADSL 2+ modem as i used it on Bulldog
After playing with the settings i've got it to work using the stun address - tunnel to automatic and use the username and password and it works
sorry bob for the numerous e-mails!

Re: BB Phone Problem Solved!

I setup my speedtouch 716wl with a pap2 adapter without making any changes or using any stun setting worked great.
I thought it would takes hours port  forwarding opening port on the router.  Managed to do it under 20min.
Lets hope we get a better service on voip from now.
I just hoped plusnet would let us have normal telephone numbers instead of the 0845 so friend can call us free if they have a free std calling plan

True - nothing to stop your friends getting another VOIP program and calling you on that.
Also don't forget you have a landline Smiley
it took me seconds when i set it up - i just entered my details and off i went
i'm glad to see you have it up and running, don't foget to do 7000 to echo test
