Auto switch back to Microsoftl Messaging Program

Following any download from Microsoft I have to change my Default Messaging Program back to Internet Explorer via Tools in Internet Explorer. Can this be changed?

Re: Auto switch back to Microsoftl Messaging Program

Are you talking about the options on one of the two screengrabs I've attached? If so, what do you mean by messaging program? The program that's looking after your email? What does it keep getting changed to?

Yes the General Page.
Always goes to Windows Messaging as the Default, although the box is not ticked

Re: Auto switch back to Microsoftl Messaging Program

I see the same problem.  After every Microsoft Office update, the default Mail program always gets reset to Outlook.  At Home I use Outlook Express as my default, and at work we use Kerio mail.
But Microsoft knows best!  So every time I have to change it back again.  Luckily at work, we can use Group Policy to enforce the change, but it is a bit arrogant of Microsoft to make the change to MY preferences.
